about

A Curious Night of Music and Art was a revue-style show performed at the Chapel Playhouse in King’s Cross on 29th November 2019.

Performed by the talent of people who have worked with Curious Tales before, this was a special night to celebrate what we love: art.

Featuring songs from musicals, original poetry and renditions of music from other avenues, we add our own signature twist of artistic incorporation.

Continuing from our incorporation of art in Ordinary Days, A Curious Night of Music and Art aimed to push artistic boundaries and showcase the talents of the people on stage. With a pulley system suspended above the audience, a piece of art were added during each number, with cast members drawing, playing instruments, taking photos, dancing, creating digital art and reciting poetry, to create a huge artistic tapestry and turning the theatre into a gallery of freshly created art.
